My daughter is in the middle of a bad divorce and she asked her ex to help with school clothing but he says “that’s what child support is for.”  Is he right?

School clothes are typically purchased by the custodial parent who is receiving child support (unless the agreement provides otherwise, which is rare).  An exception might be made for uniforms.
