Massachusetts Mediated Divorce Attorney Discusses a Mutual Agreement Prior to Mediation

Sometimes when people come to me as a Massachusetts Mediated Divorce Attorney for mediation they’ve done a lot of research, they’ve done a lot of talking with their spouse and they really have come to an agreement. That is a great thing, because I think an agreement that the parties arrive at with or without the mediation process is a great thing because the sooner they come to an agreement, the sooner they can come to the divorce and move on with their lives. People occasionally come to see me as a Massachusetts Mediated Divorce Attorney with an outline of what they’ve agreed to and sometimes they haven’t always thought of everything they need to put into an agreement and that might need to be discussed or the agreement that they reached might not be acceptable to the court for some reason so that might need a little tweaking, but it’s great when people come to mediation with some if not all of their issues ironed out.
